Dries Van Noten ready to wear collection on the Paris Fashion Week runway

Dries Van Noten sent their spring and summer 2011 ready to wear collection down the runway today during Paris Fashion Week. The collection was filled with breezy, pastel silks and the occasional floral print. Dries Van Noten created an easy to wear collection that will go from the runway into reality without a problem. The handbag collection was equally wearable as Dries Van Noten showed a large, soft hobo and a medium sized shoulder bag on the Paris Fashion Week runway.

The large soft hobo on the Dries Van Noten runway was a soft, pale blue leather and featured one top handle that the model wore tucked under arm. The hobo could easily fit all purse essentials plus a few extra items. The soft blue blended well into the Dries Van Noten color palette and can easily work with other designer collections from Milan and New York.

Hermes Kanye West invades Twitter, shows us his vintage Hermes

Hermes

It seems as though Kanye West‘s recent advent to Twitter has been mighty controversial – some people think he’s hysterical, some people think he tweets too much, and still others have yet to get over that whole Taylor Swift thing. I find myself residing firmly in the first group, and the only thing that surprises me in the least about his account is that he hasn’t had one all along. Twitter was made for Kanye West.

In between telling us that he jogs in Lanvin and imploring us to check out his “credenza game,” Yeezy actually managed to tweet a picture that you guys might be interested in – the vintage Hermes travel bag above. The handle looks a bit worse for the wear, but I’m digging the distressing on the rest of the bag and how aged the leather is. If you have any information on the name of this model or the year it might have been made, let us know in the contents – Kanye, naturally, was short on details.
